Acoustic Guitars
Collings Om1A JL with an LR Baggs Anthem SL pickup. I played one of these guitars in 2020 and it haunted me for years. Can’t believe I own it now. Go play one - maybe it will haunt you too. This guitar shows up for you and rewards solid playing.

Waterloo WL-14 with a K&K Pure Sound pickup. Opinions among my friends are divided on this one. When it comes to Waterloo, you either get it or you don’t. Here’s what I know, the guitar has a lot of mojo and it’s most the most comfortable acoustic guitar I’ve ever touched. Light as a feather too.

Electric Guitars
Nash T-52 with a Lollar Charlie Christian neck pickup that I never stray from. Nash makes great guitars. I compared this one to guitars twice the price and there was something special about this one. Especially paired with that Lollar Charlie Christian neck pickup. All you have to do is plug it in.

Amps:

Fender Blues Jr. IV. What can be said about the Blues Jr. that hasn’t been said before? Most guitarists will own one at some point because they’re affordable tube amps that sound great at a low volume. I set the tube volume to 6. Treble all the way down. Bass about 3. Mids to 12. Reverb to taste. I know it’s weird, just try it out.
